Without a doubt, the Mile High Classic (formerly the Heather Ridge Classic) is "THE" scratch league in Denver.
The league has been in existence since 1980 and attracts all the top bowlers in the area.

Every Wednesday beginning August 25, 2010 through April 27, 2011 - Team and League Format

Team Format
- 5 bowlers per team
- Team Cap is 1000 based on all 5 bowlers' entering average
League Format
- Scratch
- 40-point system per week
- 3 trimesters with a 2 week end of year play-off

Location
The tournament rotates between different bowling centers in Denver, Colorado Springs, Greeley and other locations along the front range.
Date
Tournaments are held the 2nd Sunday from September thru April with an end of year tournament held in May. - Format and Cost

Format
- Individual scratch tournament
- 6 game Qualifier
- Top third of the field goes to the Semi-finals (all semi-finalists cash)
- 3 game Semi-finals
- Top 8 are seeded in an 8-man bracket for single elimination match play

- $25 annual membership
- $100 prepaid
- $105 at the door
- $120 non-member
